Overview

A Team Fortress Classic classic, 2Fort represents the spirit of the Capture The Flag (CTF) game mode in Team Fortress 2. Capture the flag provides both teams with a large base a relatively short distance from each other, but each with an identical and labyrinthine interior. At the heart of the each base lies an intelligence room which contains a briefcase of intelligence on a desk. Each team must protect their own intelligence while attempting to capture that of their enemy.

The intelligence is captured by a player picking up the enemy intelligence by touching it, and returning to their capture zone, a small area enclosing their own intelligence desk. If the player carrying the intelligence is killed before he returns to his capture zone, the intelligence is dropped on the ground, and will return to its intelligence room after 30 seconds if not picked up. If a teammate manages to pick up the fallen briefcase, he is able to return it to his team’s capture zone, and if he is killed on the way, the intelligence is once again dropped and the recovery timer reset.
