Hey from the DK

Come and say g'day to the folks here.

Hey from the DK

Oh my, there's an actual introductions forum!

Well, here goes, then: I'm an animator from Denmark. I'm working in the gaming industry, at IO-Interactive, and I am absolutely teh suck at TF2. But it's fun, and I'm loving the design, balancing and animations in it.

Favorite class is spy, although I may be of better use elsewhere, so I also play the other proffesions a lot. Only thing I don't play is sniper, I guess, and I'm falling more and more in love with the soldier.

I really dig this site (I think I've said this as well in other threads), and it's a daily stop on my pre-work surf-route.

Welcome to the TF2S forums Softskin! (kinky name, by the way)

Your in the gaming industry? :!: I'm so jealous! That's been my dream since I was little. Slowly working my way towards that goal, but I've gotten stuck fixing computers instead for the time being.

The Spy is one of my (sort-of) favorite classes as well. I don't know any other shooter game which has a comparable class, and it's sheer uniqueness is what keeps drawing me back. That, and the satisfying feeling of backstabbing unsuspecting victims. :D

Glad to have you around, and we're certainly honored to be part of your daily life.

Oh sweet, are you working on Little Ninjas? Because that looks like an animator's dream to me - basically making a Pixar movie with NINJAS! Watching that other trailer just now made me want a hot chocolate... Btw, IO is looking for playtesters - I'm up for it, if you'll send me the airfares ;)

Always good to see the regulars around anyway. A mate of mine (AyesDyef) is working on a bunch of custom stuff for TF2 and I try and keep in the loop, so I have some idea of how tough it is to get everything right in the modelling/animating process. Kudos, good sir!

Hopefully I can get some more updates on the front page if it turns out people are actually reading them

Well, I'm not working on Mini Ninjas, and I'm actually not sure if I can reveal what I'm working on just yet. But yes MN is an animators dream I'd say. Thx for the props, though, and I don't know if IO are willing to take in Expat testers :D
