This is kind of old news now, but in the spirit of the new News forum, I thought I'd put it up anyway, since it's not the kind of thing that becomes obsolete.
Just recently (28th January), the Valve developers of TF2 took on the champions of the TGL TF2 champions, 20ID and The Experiment. 12 devs including Robin Walker took arms against the two professional 6 player teams combined in 2 epic 12v12 games, on Granary and cp_Well.
In an hour or so awash with action, gibs, and controversy, the two teams fought it out, the Valve devs claiming that the match was an investigation into how pros played TF2, so that they could cater to all audiences, proof of just how dedicated Valve is to its customers. You can download the shoutcasted match (207MB) and Robin Walker's pre-game interview (32MB) over at pwnage.tv. If you've got the bandwidth, it's a great watch, though downloading first is something of a must.
