Title says everything. We have 3 modes that doesn't have any map guides associated with it, that is Payload Race, King of the Hill and Arena. I think we should make a map guide out of any three of these modes to add a little...variety. Personally, I feel that the most suitable candidates for each respective mode is Pipeline, Viaduct and Lumberyard. We should choose a map (or suggest another one) and get to writing it.

I'm actually interested in doing a VSH guide, but since it's an unofficial mode, I don't really see it being represented outside of a misc guide. The next best thing is making a guide of Mann Manor or Eyeaduct, since they do have powerful bosses.

HIghtower would be easier to finish than Pipeline (or Nightfall, for that matter), so it's a good choice.

For eyeaduct we could write a viaduct guide and then have a special page attached for the holloween stuff.

Yeah, I was thinking of doing something similar to all Halloween maps. A section about map-unique mechanics for Harvest, Mann Manor and Eyeaduct.

I don't know. It's a grey-winged...thing. I'm not sure why I drew that honestly, just a sudden strike of creativity went over me and by the time it passed this thing was already my avatar oon most of the sites I visit. I think it might be De-HEY, I THINK WE'RE GETTING OFF-TOPIC HERE. Okay, let's see: plr, koth or arena?

Psst. Keep it low profile. You know how easy it is for people to get freaked out by horses.

So, since there's no other suggestions I think we can go with Hightower then.

Based on my experience, Hightower games start like any other plr map, both teams get to their cart and push it. Things start to get messy at the intersection, where both teams compete for the right of way. After that, it's usually the team that prevails that starts marching towards the first major point in the track: the ramp. Expect a lot of sentries along that line of track. Most games just timeout here, but once someone breaks through, it's on to the last and most difficult part of the track: the eponymous HIGHTOWERS (dun dun dun)! It works like a ramp, but it's completly vertical. It's difficult to reach your cart as it's ascending and you will be overwhelmed by gunfire and explosives coming from the enemy sniper decks. The maps layout helps snipers and spies. There is a sniper deck and elevation for stairstabs and jumpstabs.

I honestly don’t know how much I’ll be able to help because I don’t play PLR much. However, I’ve had fun “jousting” by riding the bombcarts at my opponent 1 on 1 with kcool, who I game with a lot because we know eachother.

If both platforms are being raised, it is possible to make it all the way to the opponents platform as a scout with the force-a-nature and the atomizer. I tested this when messing around with a friend. It should be noted that the demoman can be a dangerous enemy for cart pushers early on because if he is good at estimating his grenades arcs and figuring out where the cart is.
