Distance to Server (ping troubles)

I'm in China and am finding that my ping is too high in TF2, because of the distance. Most servers are US/European. I keep getting kicked. I know distance is the cause because when playing CSS I am able to find Asian servers with a much more reasonable ping. (~80 as opposed to ~300)

So my question is: does anyone know of any Asian TF2 servers and is able to give me an IP, or a link or something? I found one Singaporean server so far. What do Australians do, I figure you guys are pretty distant from the US/Europe as well?

Alternatively, is there anything else I can do to lower that ping? (Obviously: background programs are off, spyware has been destroyed and I can't afford a better connection.)

What Australians do is use Australian servers I'll always be found on an Internode server, unless I've got Friends in a GameArena one. Does China not have TF2 servers? There's a wealth of them in Australia, and no shortage of full ones. To find them I just go to the window with all the servers (at the TF2 menu) and have Country: Australia as the only filter, then hit refresh all.

Just because the US/Europe have the most servers is no reason to use them

Me too, my ping shoots up to 900 sometimes. What a pain. I often see myself on 600~800 ping, while everyone is under 100. It's gotten worse. Now, when I walk on any class, I go bouncing back and forth on every server. I'll look for a chinese server.

900?!?!? That's mad. I don't have much trouble with ping since I'm in the UK. I just filter for Europe and I'm fine. Oh, and Jason, welcome to TF2 strategy!

There's servers all over the damn place, U just gotta find them. I mean over here in the USA, servers are a dime a dozen.
