I have been noticing less and less activity on the forums. In fact, I have a few times considered giving up on them as dead. But then I always think of the time I have put into them, and decided, “No! I will go back!” Because of this I have a pledge to make:

I will not give up on the site. Even if there is no activity, I will continue to stubbornly post my new thoughts, ideas, and strategies onto here.

I really hope the site doesnt die.

Ah, you guys . I was just thinking, poor old TF2S is so utterly and completely out of date by now, I wonder what's going on in the forums...

If this site were a startup, it would have gone out of business long ago. As it stands, it costs me about $10/year to run for the domain name, so I have no real incentive to shut it down. Unfortunately, my life has only seemed to get more busy every month, and both it and myself are so far behind the TF2 community that there's little incentive to bother updating anything.

Lesson learned: if you can garner an awesome community (you guys), trust them and open up the site content as a wiki-like. Have a Stack Overflow crowdsourced self-moderating team of editors. Then it doesn't even matter what happens to the owner: the heart will go on.

WordPress is not that kind of system. Bygones are bygones, but TF2Strategy will stand strong. As an emblem. Thank you, one and all.

Can't you just recruit more users as admins? Or does Wordpress restrict that, because I'll be glad to be able to contribute to the site without having to write it in the forums and waiting for someone to upload it.

It's been so long since I've browsed the main site, and there's so many pages not found. It's kinda sad, really. Feels like the site is really starting to die.

I have like 4 weapon guides halfway written, but I havent had much time to play around in tf2 recently...
