TF2 Strategy evolved from a class-focused strategy guide knocked together by avid Team Fortress 2 fan Pie21, published on Freewebs a couple of days before the release of The Orange Box. Given the chance to expand upon this foundation, the site has grown from that initial class guide to encompass a variety of strategy topics, including the broader categories of classes and maps and some more focused areas such as map control and forward defence.
Despite the growth from the original class guides, TF2 Strategy is still well in its infancy. We hope one day to become not only the #1 source of TF2 strategy for all skill levels, but also a great repository of TF2 content, including pictures, statistics, videos, custom maps, and who knows what else. However it is accepted that such a goal requires hard work over a long period of time, so check back regularly, as the site will only get better and better.
At present, many guides are still in the process of being illustrated. This is clearly not a desirable situation, and rest assured that all guides, past present and future, will eventually be revised to contain rich, graphical compliments. It is my belief that it is often better to get the completed information out the door and update it as it becomes possible than to withhold completed work indefinitely until it is perfectly polished.
