Team Fortress 2 Strategy

Okay, so this has nothing to do with Team Fortress 2. To be honest, it’s been a slow news-couple-of-weeks since Valve hasn’t given us much to work with and I’ve been a busy beaver.

So this will be the second post in a row mentioning Left 4 Dead, but I take no shame from that. Valve has put up an official Left 4 Dead blog in very much the same style as the Team Fortress 2 blog as a part of the new Left 4 Dead official website (featuring the cool new box art).

So that’s not TF2 – why do you care? First of all, I’m not too worried if you don’t, at least I’ve put something up. It makes me feel less guilty. Secondly L4D looks to be shaping up as a very, very cool game, rivalling TF2 for pure multiplayer fun. The necessity for teamwork should be a welcome feature to anyone bothering to check out this site (it’s what makes Arena Mode great), and there’s zombies!

I won’t report on these updates unless they’re fairly major, but I recommend keeping a keen eye on it, as L4D approaches its release (November 18th-ish). Did I mention there’ll be a demo shortly before then?
